Grandad's Greenhouse (WIP Print #2)

£10.00

Grandad’s Greenhouse, work in progress (WIP) print #2 from the project Larkfield Way.

8x10 inch black and white darkroom print on Ilford matte darkroom paper.

Please note that all work in progress prints are offered at a discounted price due to being inverted and/or containing tonal differences from the digital scans from the film negatives shown on my website and social media.

From the teachings of my Grandfather, I came to know the gifts of nature; its lessons, its care, and its warmth to heal. Watching him at a knee-height age in his worn Dickies safety shoes tending and nurturing the tomatoes, runner beans, and peppers in his greenhouse and running down the garden path with them fresh in a brown paper bag to gift to Nanny for her casserole, I experienced the gift of reciprocity; that we can heal and nurture nature, as much as it heals and nurtures us.

All prints are delivered ‘naked’ (without plastic packaging) using either recyclable cardboard envelopes or photography print sleeves made from clear compostable PLA (vegetable starch)

Please note that I’m currently only accepting orders within the UK.
