Mindful Photography Walks & Lens-Based Workshops

Mindfulness Photowalks

I also offer mindful photography walks in my local community as a way of creating spaces of warmth and tenderness to connect with nature’s gifts. Inviting space for slower ecological rhymes, noticing the sights, sounds, smells and textures of nature through the lens of photography.

Open to all levels of experience, these photowalks focus less on the technical elements of how to take a perfect picture, and more on ways in which we can connect with our senses through noticing and observing the micro and macro livings worlds of nature that we sometimes may overlook.

Restoring land without restoring relationship is an empty exercise. It is relationship that will endure and relationship that will sustain the restored land.
